Sold Genuine 15-16th centuries manor in the Oise department

This property is located 1.5 hours from Paris, 30 min. from Compiègne, at the edge of a village. It features a 15-16th centuries manor with outbuildings, including a 19th century farm and a detached medieval tower, on 5 ha (12.4 acres) of protected grounds containing some stones from an ancient fortress.

This manor was built during the 15th century on the ruins of a Templars' fortress. It is made of stone (c.a. 1.5 mt. or 5 ft. thick for the northern wall) with a slate roof and is in good general condition. Some inner renovation works are to be done. A large tower, with a spiral staircase, sits prominently on the main side. The house offers c.a. 300 sq. mt. (3,228 sq. ft.) of living space and 2 levels plus a total basement and an attic. It features a lot of period details (fireplaces, exposed beams and stone, tiled floors, etc.)

The total basement includes a large room with exposed beams, a wine cellar, a boiler room and an exit on the southern and the northern sides. The manor is equipped with a central oil heating system.
