Genuine 17th century chateau with a large estate near Paris

This property is located around 50 min. North West of Paris, 5 min. from all shops and services. It features a 17th century chateau with many outbuildings on 52 ha (129 acres) of grounds, including gardens, ornamental lakes, swimming pool, heliport and woods. The chateau was built during the 17th century on the ruins of an ancient fortress. It is made of free stone with a slate roofing. It is in good general condition. The frontages and the whole roof have been recently entirely renewed. The inner decoration offers of many period details: tiled floors, parquet floors, oak wainscoting, inner shutters, oak staircase with iron wrought banister, coat of arms, ornateness, etc. Some inner renovation works are however to be done. The chateau offers 3 levels, including the converted attics, i.e. 900 sq. mt. (9,684 sq. ft.) of total space, plus a complete basement.

A secondary staircase leads to the 2nd floor to be entirely restored. It offers 12 bedrooms with parquet floor and a linen room. The basement features the cellars, 3 ancient kitchens and 2 tiled rooms.
