Withdrawn Pretty 17th century manor house to restore in the Ille-et-Vilaine department

This property is located midway between Dinard and Dinan, not far from numerous beaches, from the Mont-Saint-Michel or from the international airport of Rennes, in a village with all shops and services. It features a 17th century stone manor house to be entirely redone with 2,000 sq. mt. (21,520 sq. ft.) of grounds.

The main view
The manor house and its dovecote on the South-West side.

A beautiful iron gate opens onto a wooden path leading to the manor house. An ancient roman aqueduct borders the path and makes a small channel.

Sketch of the manor
The manor and the dovecote. On the right: the part to be rebuilt.

The manor was built on the ruins of medieval setting. It is made of granite with a slate roofing and benefits from a large dovecote on the South-West side. It offers 229 sq. mt. (2,646 sq. ft.) on the ground floor. A 1st floor could be created offering 308 sq. mt. (3,314 sq. ft.) of total space. A second wing, around the same total space, could be rebuilt (the stones were kept).

The path

the ancient aqueduct on the right-hand side.

The building needs a complete restoration (floors, walls, ceilings, part of the roof, etc.) The connections for water and wiring are at the entrance of the property. Tax relief could be possible for the renovation works (see for example "loi Malraux").

The grounds are partially fenced with high stone walls.

It is possible to acquire, on top of the asking price, additional building land for 4,000 sq. mt. (43,040 sq. ft.)

An ideally located pretty manor house to restore, wealth of History...
