Genuine 16th century manor to restore near the sea

This property is located 2 h from Paris (Porte Maillot), about 20 min. from Le Havre, in Pays de Caux, 1.5 km (0.94 miles) from the first shops and services. It features an half-timbering 16th century manor with an outbuilding and an inner courtyard set on 1 ha (2.48 acres) of grounds.

The manor offers 2 levels and the attics and has a beautiful half-timbering side dating from the beginning of the 16th century. The walls are made of stone (thickness: 55 cm, 1.8 ft.), the roof of tiles. The manor is in good general condition and offers 300 sq. mt. (3,228 sq. ft.) of total space. An interior renovation is already begun (the ground floor 100 sq. mt. - 1,076 sq. ft. is already restored).

On the ground floor, the main entrance opens onto a large room divided into 3 parts by a monumental brick and stone fireplace with 2 hearths. This level distributes a living room with triple aspects, direct access from the outside and high ceilings, a dining room with a 19th century tiled floor and a large cooker installed inside the fireplace and a kitchen with a wooden terrace and beautiful windows opened in the stone wall. The level also features a bedroom, a bathroom and a storeroom.

A beautiful door of oak opens onto a staircase leading to the 1st floor that has to be converted. It features 3 rooms with half-timbering walls, including one with a stone fireplace and a storeroom. The attics are accessible by the same staircase and offer 100 sq. mt. (1,076 sq. ft.) and high ceilings (6 mt., 20 ft.). The manor is equipped with an oil central heating system (on the ground and the 1st floors) but the wood heating system is more often used. The wiring is renewed.
