The chateau was rebuilt during the early 20th century, on the same spot and in the same style as a previous 16th century edifice. The current chateau is made of local granite stone with a slate roof and is composed of a L-shaped main building with 2 square towers. It has access to a huge terrace, that dominates a vast lake and the landscaped grounds.
The chateau has been well maintained and is in very good general and interior condition. It offers over 600 sq. mt. (6 460 sq. ft.) of living space on 3 levels, plus a convertible attic and an underground floor.

The main entrance is located in the east tower, where a beautiful door with a sculpted granite lintel gives access to a broad spiral staircase leading to the upper floors.
The raised ground floor includes a vast reception room with parquet floor and an impressive fireplace, a vast dining room with a big sculpted granite fireplace, wainscotting, parquet floor and French ceiling, a large professionally equipped kitchen, an hexagonal study in the west tower, a playroom and rest rooms.
The 1st floor is divided into 2 parts: the first one is an apartment of 123 sq. mt. (1 320 sq. ft.) including 2 reception rooms, one of which with a fireplace, 3 bedrooms and a large bathroom. The 2nd part features a large study with parquet floor, a further large room, a small photo laboratory, 2 storerooms and rest rooms. The 2nd floor distributes 12 bedrooms, a linen room and 2 shower rooms. In addition, about 60% of the attic space (i.e. 120 sq. mt., 1 290 sq. ft.) can be easily converted. The underground floor includes a wine cellar, a storeroom, a deep freeze room, a laundry room and a further vaulted room. The chateau is equipped with electric heating and all its windows are double-glazed.

The outbuildings consist of 2 large converted pavilions at the entrance of the estate, an ancient dovecote, kennels, a small building farther on the grounds and several sheds. The 1st pavilion offers about 75 sq. mt. (800 sq. ft.) of living space on 2 levels, in very good condition, including a 2 roomed accommodation on the 1st floor and a studio apartment with kitchen on the 2nd floor, plus a large garage on the ground floor. The 2nd pavilion is larger than the 1st one and is in very good condition. It offers about 160 sq. mt. (1 720 sq. ft.) of living space on 3 levels, with a single room of over 50 sq. mt. (540 sq. ft.) on each floor.

The gently rolling grounds (16 ha, 39.5 acres in one piece) feature a park of 3 ha (7.4 acres) with big trees of rare species, a lake of 1 ha (2.5 acres) with a small island, meadows and woods. They are crossed by a stream.
