Exceptional listed 17th/18th centuries manor at the gates of Paris, in the Val-d'Oise department

This property is located in the residential area of a small town 15 km (9 miles) north-west of Paris, not far from a railway station, an access to a motorway and the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle international airport. It is composed of a ISMH-listed 18th century manor with 17th century outbuildings on 1.17 ha (2.9 acres) of beautiful wall-enclosed landscaped grounds with century-old trees.

The main building was built in 1730 with stone and a slate roof. It features many remarkable period details and offers over 400 sq. mt. (4 300 sq. ft.) of living space on 3 levels and needs some interior restoration. The main building is extended on one side by a 17th century wing, that offers about 200 sq. mt. (2 150 sq. ft.). The ISMH-listing applies to the fronts and roofs.

The manor has 3 entrances. The main entrance is located at the centre of the west side, in a round tower with the main oak staircase.

On the ground floor, the left side of the manor features 4 rooms in a row: a main reception room (ca. 50 sq. mt., 538 sq. ft.) with windows opening onto the eastern side of the grounds, decorated with marble fireplace, wainscotting and parquet floor, a smaller reception room (ca. 40 sq. mt., 430 sq. ft.) with windows on 2 sides, marble fireplace and a remarkable parquet floor, a dining room with windows on 2 sides, marble fireplace and parquet floor, and a kitchen. The 2 reception rooms and the dining room have high ceilings. The right side corresponds to the 17th century wing and distributes a corridor with period tiled floor, a cloakroom and a staircase leading to an entresol with a fruit room and further rooms.

The 1st floor is accessed by the main staircase in the tower and the second staircase. It distributes a long corridor, 7 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. The farther rooms compose a suite with a small sitting room, a small kitchen and a bedroom. Each room has a marble fireplace and parquet floor. The 2nd floor is accessed by the main staircase. It includes a corridor with period tiled floor, 6 bedrooms with either parquet floor or tiled floor, a small kitchen and a shower room.

The 17th century right wing is built on 2 levels and communicates with the main building. It offers ca. 200 sq. mt. (2 150 sq. ft.) of living space and its ground floor includes a large kitchen, a pantry, an ancient chapel and a laundry room. The 1st floor has been converted into an accommodation with a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The underground floor distributes cellars.

The 17th century caretaker's house offers ca. 175 sq. mt. (1 880 sq. ft.) of living space on 2 levels and is divided into 2 independent accommodations. The first accommodation is accessed by a charming wooden staircase and distributes 4 rooms plus a convertible attic. The second accommodation features 5 rooms on 2 levels. Part of the ground floor consists of ancient stables with access under a porch that is closed by a carriage gate and leads to a paved courtyard.

The further outbuildings consist of a barn and garages on the paved courtyard.

The landscaped grounds are vast and beautiful: the 1.17 ha (2.9 acres) are fully wall-enclosed and feature big century-old trees of various species, lawns and flowered clumps. They are included in a protected area.
