Authentic 12th century
priory in the Larzac, Aveyron departmentThis property is located 50 min from Montpellier, 20 min from Lodève and not far from Millau, in a charming village of the Causse du Larzac, at an altitude of 750 mt. (2 500 ft.). It is composed of a 12th century priory with an adjoining 18th century presbytery. Both buildings benefit from unimpeded views of the village and the surrounding countryside.

The priory was built during the 12th century with granite stone walls. It has been recently restored by masters craftmen and features a vast vaulted chapter room (ca. 100 sq. mt., 1 080 sq. ft.) with stone floor, a small sacristy and 3 chapels with contemporary stained glass windows on one side of the building.

The 18th century presbytery adjoins the priory and communicates with it. It is built on 3 levels. The ground floor is composed of 2 large vaulted rooms, one with a baker's oven, and a vaulted cellar. The 1st floor distributes a living room, a kitchen with a storeroom, 2 bedrooms and a shower room. The 2nd floor includes 2 large bedrooms and a convertible attic.
