The structure of the palace, made of sandstone, has been very well preserved and is currently in good condition. The framework has been fully restored, as have most of the 250 windows. Despite of some inopportune modifications, the interior still features many period items of exceptional quality. The palace has recent electrical and sanitary fittings, and is equipped with central heating... |

| 12th century pinnacle |
Of massive and simple architecture, the church is a beautiful example of the Provençal Romanesque school. Its single nave is topped with a semi-circular vault that spans 40 ft. This huge weight is supported by carefully balanced and buttressed walls, 10-ft. thick. Inside, the bays of the nave and apse are separated by fluted pillars decorated with pure-style Corinthian capital added during the Classic period. However, as the renovation ceased during the French Revolution, the first two bays have kept their genuine capital, which creates a striking contrast with the other bays.
The two original towers of the church are only ruins, but the pinnacle, built above the choir, has been very well preserved. Signal of the prestigious necropolis on which it is set, this richly decorated item dates from the 12th century and is a fine and unique piece of Romanesque architecture.
The guest's building has been enlarged during the 18th century, in continuation of the southern wing of the palace. It has kept its 12th century walls and features a more recent high tower with a bell-tower in wrought iron.
